Question:

I am going to be installing an underlay before I put down adhesive floor tiles in our kitchen. I was going to nail the underlay down but it has been suggested that I could staple it down instead. What is best nailing or stapling.

Answer:

I'd rather use plywood screws than anything else and I would want to make sure none of them go into joists underneath because that's what squeaks are made off.
