Question:

Can a laminate be installed over an esixting laminate on a countertop. Alternatively, can the existing laminate be removed, and new added?

Answer:

Good try! You'll have to remove it. The adhesive is heat activated so a heatgun operated carefully will just peel off the old. You can then install the new.
