Our home is 17 years old and I am starting to notice that a couple of our doors are starting to separate(panel). What is the best way to go about repairing this problem?
Answer:
I've repaired them in the past with white carpenter's glue and then using wood clamps on lengths of 2X4 for a couple of hours. They're still holding after ten or more years. The clamps should be no more than a foot apart.
In the interests of retaining credibility and in fairness to all, I cannot recommend prices, people nor companies for various projects.
Remember, even if you don’t do your own work around the house have to hire someone, you put yourself at a great advantage when you can intelligently discuss a project with the various trades people.
