Our new vinyl floor (<1 year) in the kitchen and bathroom is curling at the edges. In fact it now looks worse then the old floor! The flooring has lifted approx 1 to max 3 inches from the edge. The flooring was put in by a local "reputable" flooring company. However workmanship..ie cut corners were sloppy. The owner of the flooring company say's that the only fix is now qtr round. I contend that there was not enough perimeter adhesive.

In fact, you are both right. I cannot understand though, why the flooring job is not being completely replaced if its only a year old.
