I need to remove mastic floor glue from a plaster wall to install a new coat of paint, is there a easy way to do this, with out using toxic strippers that will harm my pets. If so please recamend a product.

If its been there a while you'll end up scraping it off and then doing a small repair job on the plaster with ordinary joint compound. Anything that would neutralize the glue would also do quite a number on the paint in the immediate area.
