1. are all types of cermaic tile slippery (for a kitchen?); 2. are there fumes/properties in the adhesive/paste used that could be harmful for a pregnant woman?

Answer:

No, all tiles are not slippery. Actually, some are sold as having a 'non skid' surface so you can be sure they aren't. As far as the fumes being harmful to anyone, yes, I think they can be but then so are many other things we encounter on a daily basis. Some adhesives, I'll admit, are more odouriferous than others.
