i have a concrete floor that had been stripped of peel & stick tile. i would like to paint the floor but the glue is still there. what is the best way to remove the glue so the paint will adhere.

As long as there is glue there, yu will not be getting a durable paint job on the floor. Finding a neutralizer for the adhesive may be almost out of the question but that is what it will take to get it down to where you can cure, etch, prime and paint it.
