Love your show. We catch you as often as we can on Saturdays on CKLW 800 Windsor On. We are renovating our basement. Used all your tips regarding drywall etc. Currently we have carpet, on asphalt tile, on cement. We are thinking of ceramic tile or laminate flooring. Can we put ceramic or laminate over the existing tiles or do we have to rip them up?

You'll probably be better off to get right down to the concrete. It may be more work but it sure pays off in the end.
