I have long black scuff marks, caused by moving an old freezer, on my white ceramic tile. How can I remove them? I have tried cleaners and S.O.S. but nothing works.

Keep away from using steel wool in these situations. Try a bit of hair spray and then wipe it off and if that doesn't wotk, lacquer thinner should do as much as you'll ever be able to do with it. Lots of ventilation when you're using the thinner or it'll put you right up there with the pigeons.
