Question:

I contacted you yesterday concerning marks on our cushion floor from oven cleaner. This morning I remembered using tooth paste and baking soda to take a burn mark out of furniture, so I mixed up a thick batter of 1 tbsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. tooth paste. I scrubbed for several minutes with a firm toothbrush and the stain is gone except for a very slight smear (but I'll leave that to remind management of my hard work). I'm not sure if it was the toothpaste and baking soda or my wife's tears! Just thought you would want to know of a happy ending.

Answer:

Thanks for the tip. I'll try it myself but I'd like to know if you had to scrub hard enough to do away with the self-polishing feature of the floor. No matter how hard you scrubbed though, I think I'd still rather look at a bit of a dull spot than orange on a white floor.
