Question:

I have a bathroom which has cushion floor over old tile flooring. Can I take the cushion floor off and put ceramic tile down over the tile. I heard somewhere that with new types of glue for ceramic tile that this can now be done.

Answer:

As long as you have an inch and a half of wood under the tiles you should have no problem. Also, to remove the glue from the old wood, I'll ask you to get in touch with the people at look for a biodegradable neutralizer because that is something you'll have to do unless you want to remove the plywood itself.
