Question:

We are removing old laminate flooring due to some water damage. Our insurance company and their flooring associate assured us that the old flooring could be matched so they would only have to replace the damaged pieces. Well, the flooring could not be matched. Now we are left with trying to remove the new flooring along with the original flooring so we can real wood installed. The old flooring is not easy to remove but it is impossible to get the new wood up because of the glue. It is still rubbery and will not release from the sub-flooring (concrete). What can we do to get the glue to release the flooring and remove the glue?

Answer:

A tile chipper will remove everything right down to the concrete and that's probably what you want.
