Hello, we have had problems with mice invading our home. Someone had suggested using mothballs, so we did and place them in unretrievable areas. The only problem is now the odor from the mothballs seems worse than the mouse problem. How long does the odor last for or is there some way we can make the mothballs evaporate
Answer:
Time will evaporate the mothballs but the smell lingers for months and the less ventilation, the longer it lingers. Mice will get in through holes as small as a quarter of an inch so you might address that by blocking all holes with steel wool - its the only thing they won't chew through.
