Question:

My wife & I plan on building a new house next year, with ourselves acting as the general contractor, do you have a booklet that would cover the do's & don'ts for such a project?

Answer:

Start interviewing the trade specialists that will be doing work on the job site now. At least three from each specialty you'll need to hire. By the time you've talked to a dozen or so people associated with four or five trades you'll be able to write your own book. "Booklet" will certainly not cover it.
