Question:

We removed Mac-Tac from the kitchen cupboards but it left residual glue behind. Do you have any recommendations on how to remove this as we would like to paint the cupboards

Answer:

I'd first try using contact cement neutralizer and if that didn't work, I'd go to full strength lacquer thinner. Be carefull with this stuff or the fumes will have you right out there with the space cadets. It is also quite flammable but it will clean off the guck. By the way, it will pour right through a plastic container too so you'll buy it in a metal can.
