i have a kitchen cabinet i want to redo. it is pine doors and veneer what should i use to strip and should i use paint or stain. homeshow
Answer:
A veneer is usually hard to strip, there are chemicals you can use but you should sand the door before painting or staining. I don't know the thickness of the of the veneer used on your door so it would be difficult for me to suggest what to do.
As far as painting or staining, typically, for resale value staining is always the better option unless you were going to antique the look of the wood.
