Question:
Hi, how big of a job would/could it be to build and install kitchen cabinets? I'm willing to take the time to do it right and am interested in learning to do it correctly. What are your experiences of people wanting to do this on their own? Your comments would be appreciative.

Answer:
It is extremely difficult to describe how to build kitchen cabinets. There is alot of technique involved and it is a trade by itself. I would not suggest building your own cabinets.
What you can do is order just the boxes and doors unfinished. You would then stain your doors to the color of your choice and install them on the boxes. I would recommend hiring a professional cabinet installer.
