Hi,
I am in the midst of building a new home and am wondering if it is better to have a hardwood floor or ceramic tiles in the kitchen? I also am thinking of having textured (frosted green) glass on one countertop. Last question, How would I go on selecting the wall paint for the kitchen?

Hello,
The major difference between hardwood and ceramic floors is durability. If there is heavy traffic in your kitchen I would suggest ceramic and if there are any connecting rooms to your kitchen that presumably would have hardwood floor, its nice to have a little seperation.
Glass on a countertop is very stylish but is very easy to chip, I would recommend having the glass framed in a brushed steel or nickel frame.
The wall paint is determined by several factors;
1. Floor color
2. Cabinet color
3. Window treament, (i.e, blinds, curtains etc.)
4. Lighting.
