Question:
Would you have any advice on how I would start this project??
I have 2 sloped roofs. Presently one is lower than the other. I would like to start at the highest part of the highest flat roof and just slope it to the end of the lowest flat roof. The highest flat roof is about 18 inches higher than the lowest flat roof. the dimentions would be 9 feet by 32 feet. is the lowest flat roof. I am hoping that you could lead me in the right direction.
Thanks,
John
Answer:
Hello John,
I apologize but I cannot understand the design from the email. If you are trying to build a sloped roof over an existing flat roof, the flat roof membrane must be removed then add a pre-engineered roof truss. Snow loads and ventilation are the main concerns.
