we are looking for a house and were told to stay away from insulbrick. What is it and why is it so bad?

Insulbrick is rare these days. Its a fake brick siding that is no longer used in home construstion, to the best of my knowledge. The actual material is similar to asphalt shingles. Insurance companies really don't like it and it Burns Very Well.
