Question:

Hello,

We are trying to sell a very expensive house, which is listed with an agent. We also have an offer to buy a house conditional upon selling this one in time. It's not going very well so far. It seems so complicated to buy and sell based on conditions for selling on time. I feel like we'll never be able to pull this off and get a house we really want. Is there an easier way to do this? These conditional sales upon selling are extremely complicated.

Thanks
VL

Answer:

Hi VL

Wow, now that's a question and we could write a book on the subject.

There are so many variables involved in this equation and you will get many different answers from various realtors.

You have chosen that most commom method to sell and buy, the one that provides the least amount of risk but can often be the least successful and most expensive.

There are other options that can be crafted together but they require a certain degree of risk and should be discussed, in depth, with an accomplished realtor.

Good Luck
