Question:

Hi,

I have investments in stocks/savings bonds/rrsp and savings accounts.
I want, no need to minimixe my taxes.
Instead of investing in 3 different plans should I have 1 plan?

thanks
Lorrain

Answer:

Hello Lorraine,

Thank you for the e-mail. Let me ask you, are you currently maximizing your RRSP contributions? If you are not doing so, you should. You will minimize your taxes. If you are maximizing RRSP contribtuions, you have no other choice than to have more than one plan. There are other things you can do to minimize taxes, have you ever talked with a financial planner. I would be more than happy to sit down with you and discuss tax planning, investment planning, and wealth creation.

Thanks
