Hi Sam, I have a bathtub that is long overdue for a new one, How do I measure properly to make sure we can get it out of the house and a new one in?
Should I have a profesional do this or keep it cheap and try myself?
Answer:
Chrissy, in my experience -- doing it yourself is not always the cheapest way to go. Only you can determine that. As for taking the tub out of a home, once you have exposed and removed it from it's encasement you will be able to turn it on it's side for transport purposes, presumably you have doorways that are at least 24" wide.
