Bob,
I am living in a fairly new (2 year old) home with an ensuite that is driving me nuts. We have a separate shower that seems to be emitting an old dirty towel smell after each use. It has been getting stronger lately. We have tried thorough cleanings and it still remains with us. We have begun to think that it must be something in the drain and have recently tried drano as well as baking soda. The smell is still there. Do you have any suggestions on what we can try or do?

There must be some part of that shower that you are missing in the cleaning process or the solution you are using to clean the shower is not effective in killing the mold. Try using a chlorine bleach solution to spray walls and the doors of the shower; especially spray in the crack under the shower doors and in the track. Be carful not to over spray and get the solution on something that can be damaged by the bleach. Also take the cover off the drain and see if the underside of that has mold on it. Other than these suggestions it really is hard to determine what else it could be without an onsite inspection of the problem.
