Question:

The fan motor on Newmac funace combo wood/oil makes a buzzing(shorting) sound. What might be the cause?

Answer:

Thank you for your question.

It would be very difficult to pinpoint the problem without answering a few questions. Does the motor run at all? Does the breaker trip? Which motor is it? The motor may just be seized and may require a bearing change. Please call me and we can discuss this further. Thank you
