Question:
I have an A frame house with the master bedroom at the peek (completely triangle room). The room does not currently have a closet. What is the best way to build in a closet given that one straight wall has the door into the bedroom from hallway and the other has sliding glass door to a balcony.
Answer:
This is an inherent problem with this type of house, particularly because the side walls go to the floor, thus the triangle and why there isn't a standard closet. If there is room, you might consider having a cabinet built into the wall area that makes use of drawers rather than a traditional hanging closet. If there is room beside the door coming into the room, you could have an unusual closet with hanging on the higher side reducing down to shelves or drawers as it goes to the corners. Hope this helps.
