Question:

I have a rusty color and black scum forming in my sinks and toilets. Is this from iron? And what do I need to treat it?
thanks
Barb

Answer:

Hi Barbara. It sounds like Iron, Iron bacteria or sulphur. Depending on what it is we would use iron removers or chlorination. A test would be done in home to determine the most effective option.
