Question:
I am thinking of adding an insulating blanket to my gas water heater. Are these sold at local hardware stores and are they diffilcult to install? Do they normally come as a kit ?
Answer:
A insulation blanket is NOT recommended for use on a gas HWT as there is an open flame on the unit and the blanket is considered a fire hazard.
