Question:
Hi,I have just bought my home and it had central air already. When I turned the air conditioner on I went to the basement where the furnace is and I noticed that I have water coming out of a rubber tube. I also noticed that the temperature is not really coming down in the house. could there be a connection here?? Should I call a repair man??
Thanks
Sue
Answer:
Air conditioners are designed to remove humidity, this is the water in the tube. The tube could be blocked, or there may be other issues. A proper maintenance would be able to determine if it is the tube as well as answer your questions.
