Question:

We have purchased a home that had a hot tub in the basement. We have removed it and are wondering, because of its age (built in '87) whether it is worth installing it on our deck, or is it too old? If we were to sell it, what price should we ask for it?

Answer:

Congratulations on your new home!
It would depend on the make and model of the hot tub and how it was cared for. If it is in immaculate shape and an industry leader you could get up to $ 2200. for it. On the other hand, if you aren't sure on how it has been maintained and it needs an overhaul, it could be quite costly to repair. Nowadays, with interest rates so low often people are financing their hot tubs within their mortgage so many more people are enjoying the benefits of hot tubs and people do upgrade their models. We also have other financing options.
If we can help you any further don't hesitate to contact us!
