Question:

Can we install a hot tub in our basement?

Answer:

Yes you can install a hot tub in the basement although most people (when selecting an energy efficient hot tub) are enjoying them outdoors.

There are a few more issues to consider when installing indoors. Investigate clearance measurements with regard to getting the hot tub to your basement are there a number of stairs? Occasionally windows or doors need to be removed just to get a hot tub indoors.
Ventilation is often a careful consideration and the possibility of an air exchanger may arise. When installed in a secluded room often opened windows (when in use) can do the trick.
Obviously your floor will get wet often so your choice of flooring should be similar to what you would install in a bathroom.
You will need to drain and replace water from time to time so think about where you will run the hose (Beachcombers’ easy access floor drain makes this aspect effortless). Regardless of where you install your hot tub you will need to run 220v with between 30-60 amp (dependant on model) GFCI breaker with auto disconnect.

Once you get your hot tub, your life will never be the same!!!

Thanks for your time, if we can help any further don’t hesitate to call us at the Award Winning Artistic Group, Beachcomber Hot tubs at 2739 Carp rd 831-5559 or Place D’Orleans shopping Centre 837-5567.
