Question:
We have a wood pellet stove, and just recently bought some pellets, and quite frankly the prices are outrageous. We paid $5.30 for a bag, I can heat much cheaper with oil or any other fuel. I don't know who watches this industry, but I can see the wood pellet stove going the way the "corn pellet" stove, as consumers will not tolerate being ripped off. I hope the wood pellet industry dies, as I am ripping mine out this weekend, and replacing it with something more economical, like a jet engine. Any thoughts on why the waste wood pellets industry is gouging?
