Question:

How much propane does a pilot light in a propane fireplace use per day?

Answer:

Most gas fireplaces are operating pilot lights between 800-1,000 b.t.u. per hour. Based on propane @.60cents per litre your operating cost per hour would be 0.025 cents. That would equal about 50cents per day. If your cost of propane is lower than just re-do the math. Thanks Wayne Forsyth.
