I have a feeling I am paying for the builders gas consumtion as well as my own for my first bill but since then I have even turned off the piliot light and am not usuing it.Are gas fireplaces that expencives to run? Jan. Gas is going up to 32cents a cubic meter. Thanks Murray Alce

Answer:

Murray I'd say they are not expensive to run. In fact I'd say there practical in the sense of heating a room you'd frequently occupy. Why turn the furnace up to heat the whole house I'd definetly would try to maximize your heat by installing a fan. Clint
