My husband and I have just purchased a home that we fell in love with. We move in the week of September 20th. Our problem is that I am very allergic to animals (every animal) and the house that we have purchased has a full time dog living there. The house is wall to wall carpet other than the kitchen. Do we have to take up all the carpets (they are only 2 years old) or is there something else we can do. It was suggested that we get the ducks cleaned as well as get a new furnace as the furnace is old anyway. Please help. Thank-you.
