Question:

We have aluminum soffits. They have small holes throughout them. Above them is plywood that covers the soffits. So, basically the soffits just cover up the plywood. Should we remove the soffits and cut holes in the plywood for circulation of air in the attic (and then reinstall the soffits)? We live in a bungalow.

Answer:

Hello there Mike The aluminum soffits should be removed and holes drilled into the plywood. This will allow for proper attic ventilation. Thanks Tony
