Hi Sam, I am a Realtor in London and recently came across a property which had horse hair insulation in the attic areas. Is there a specific r value for this stuff, and can it safely have blown in or pink rolls put on top?

Answer:
Sure additional insulation can be blown on top, which is far better than rolls of insulation because it creates a blanket over entire area. As far as the R-value oh horse hair I know i was used but not to sure of the R-value
