Hi Sam,
My wife and I bought our first home this - it's being built (in Ottawa, ON). The last time we went to by to have a look at it, we didn't see any insulation in the attic. Can you tell me what the minimum insulation requirements are for an attic (R value, etc.)?

Answer:
The minimum code requirement for insulation in the attic is R32, it may not have any insulation in the attic due to the fact that the drywall has to go up first before insulation can be blown in
