Question:
My house was built in 1897 -- it used to be the bank in the village where I live -- there is no insultation between the walls and brick exterior, consequently our heating bills are out of this world.
We installed fabulous new windows (Gentek) in February 2004, re-did the entire kitchen and powder room since then. We are now at the point of needing to have the house insulated, but are out of money for the time being.
Just wondering what, in terms of dollars and cents, we might be looking at. The house is 2 stories (interior floor/ceiling height on 1st is 13 feet, second floor is 9 feet), all brick exterior. Based on this can you give me an idea?
Answer:
Unfortunately not because there would be other measurements needed as well.
Feel free to contact me at the office, where I would be more than happy to explain.
