My master bedroom is an addition constructed on sonotube posts. It is closed in and fully skirted, with a dirt floor and no insulation incl. the bedroom floor. How should I insulate and vapour barrior this crawl space?

Answer:

The underside of the masterbedroom floor and its headers/rim joist has to be insulated, The best solution to avoid a vapor barrier would be to use a product called Icynene spray foam it complete air seals and at the same time provides an effective insulation.
