Hello, wondering if you can advise on painting over a ceiling in an older home. It is tiled with a type of cardbooard material. if i paint over it, will the paint spill through the cracks. Thanks Lydia

I'm not quite sure what you are tring to paint but just about anything can be painted. A tiled ceiling can be painted but as for the cracks..... do you want them to be filled with paint? I would recommend using a 15 to 20 mm roller with a good flat paint. It will most likely take 2 coats. If this does not fill the cracks.... just use a paint brush to touch up where the roller could not get. I hope that I have answered your question. Good luck. Robert Grey.
