Question:

Hi, we are in a highrise condo and starting to think of sprucing up the place, e.g. some new furniture, new flooring, etc. Is is better to paint first or pick all the other stuff and then paint. We had the unit painted in 1999 - (not ceilings) in soft colours with all pure white trim. Is pure white trim now out of fashion? Is it better to paint baseboards to match the walls? Don't know where to start. Any thoughts/suggestions more than welcome. Many thanks Kathy Tomko

Answer:

Hi there, Well, I would sugguest that you start by picking out some colours that would work well with your new furiture, curtains, accessories and flooring. I would then paint the condo before having the new furiture and flooring delivered. As for the trim colour.... you can stay in pure white but I have seen a more creamy white to be very popular. This works well if you are using earthy colours. I hope that this helps you and if you have any more questions then please contact me via email or phone and I will try to give you a few more sugguestions. Thank you. Robert Grey
