I had a carpet that was put into the basement approx. 20 years ago.
When it was installed, they glued the carpet and the underpad to the concrete basemant floor.
I have removed the carpet, and as much of the underpad using a ice scraper.
There is still some underpad left, I was wondering how to remove this residue?
My wife has a sensitive nose, so if I will need something harsh, I will have to wait until summer.

the method that we use is 1)sharp ice scraper after which 2)we use a floor scraper that has large razor on the end to remove the balance of the rubber.All you need is more elbow grease.
