A hand made wool carpet is considered to be a work of art
while machine made rugs are look upon as a commercial product.Both rugs if well made will keep their apperance for a long time ,wool rugs are much easier to maintain the synthetic rugs,wool rugs are more expensive than synthetics and hand made rugs cost more then machine made after all you are paying for the art and the time it takes to make it
