Question:
I recently removed carpet and uderlay from my office. The floor is concrete and there are many spots where glue was used to secure the underlay.
To prepare the concrete for painting, I scraped all the glue spots and then washed the floor with a special solution. this was followed by etching the concrete with muriatic/water solution. I was advised to use an oil based paint, which after two weeks is still tachy in some spots.
THE PROBLEM. Although I thought I had successfully removed the underlay glue,this was not the case and some of it is showing through the paint. Prior to a second coat of paint, what do you suggest to reove the remaining glue?

Answer:
Rent a rotory scraper with tungsten blades from Connelly rentals on Startop road.That will get you down to conrete.The other expensive option is to call Van's mobile wash and have them Track Blast the floor thi will take everything off and make the floor smooth.
