Question:

I am unable to open my garage door with the hand held control if I am directly in front of the closed door, if I am along either side on the outside of the garage or inside I have no problem opening the door. This is not a new opener it must be at least 20 years old so it does not owe me anything, but I still would like to know what the problem is. Thanx Ken Peterson
